On p. 216 the first and second reimpressions have a Medusa tailpiece (Rahir 58); in the third the Medusa has been replaced by a typographical ornament (Rahir 57). The first and second reimpressions are distinguished by the running title at head of the last page of the index: the first has "Index rerum memorabilium"; the second has "Index rer. memorab." (cf. 17th/18th century red, gold-tooled, panelled morocco binding; central ornament within inner frame formed of triple fillets with corner ornaments of flower vases; outer border of triple fillets with small corner tools; five raised bands roll-tooled in gold; gold-tooled spine compartments with gilt lettering in second compartment; gilt board edges, turn-ins and text block edges; marbled endpapers.
