16th century blind-stamped German pigskin by the binder HC. Initials "H S", and date 1554 in blacked letters. Rolls forming border contain images of Lucretia, Justitia and Prudentia, with date 1552. Central panel on front depicts Lucretia; on back, Justitia. Re-backed.
