Title

"As this system appears to us to be a deviation from the Eton Statutes, (and we have looked into them with due attention) we conceive it to be our bounden duty to request the Provost and Fellows of Eton would enter into an explanation on what grounds the Statute forbidding the tenure of a Fellowship of Eton College with Ecclesiastical Preferment is no longer attended to and observed at Eton, whilst the corresponding Statute remains in full force at King's College".
