A reissue of the sheets of the 1660 edition (ESTC R16505) to accompany "The second part," 1664 (ESTC R223432; Wing I179), with the index (*2, 2*-3*²) removed and bifolium 4F² cancelled and replaced, with a very different ending (the same as that in later editions), leading into the beginning of the second part (which the original ending did not); the index published with the second part, 1664, covers both parts, and omits a reference to the original p. 283 of the first part that was present in the index included with the original issue of the first part.
