"Daretis Phrygii de excidio Troiae historia", an account of the destruction of Troy, is a work in Latin purporting to be a translation of a Greek original by Dares Phrygius, and was sometimes attributed to Cornelius Nepos (though the work post-dates Nepos, probably to the 5th cent. AD). The De excidio formed the chief source for the numerous medieval accounts of the Trojan legend.
