Contemporary English dark brown calf; blind tooled triple fillet border with gold tooled single fillet superimposed; gold tooled single fillet inner frame, with fleur-de-lys and crown stamps at each corner; gold tooled strapwork centrepiece; traces of green ties; gold tooling on spine; mended with parchment at head and tail of spine; title written on fore-edge.
