17th century English brown sprinkled sheep; blind tooled double fillet border with two further vertical rules an inch from the spine edge; gold tooled armorial stamp as centrepiece; gold tooled single fillet along board edges; gold tooled fillet decoration and oblong stamp on spine; red morocco spine label with gold tooled letters; edges sprinked blue; parchment tabs.
