Late 19th/early 20th century blue leather with gilt tooling and device on boards, gilt lettering and tooling on spine, and cream silk endpapers ; gauffered gilt edges with three paintings on each fore-edge (top is Wyoming, centre is Mount Etna, bottom is the Rhine) ; housed in original blue cloth box with gilt lettering ; bound by Henry Young & Sons, Liverpool (binder's stamp on front turn-in).
