An attack on Anthony Walker's 'A true account of the author of a book entituled Eikon basilike, or, The pourtraiture of his sacred Majesty in his solitudes and sufferings', in which Walker states that the true author was John Gauden; Madan, in his 'New bibliography of the Eikon basilike', agrees that it was written by Gauden, although it probably includes some authentic writings of the King.
