Title
A declaration of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, concerning His Majesties late proclamation threatning fire and sword to all inhabitants in the county of Oxford and Berks and parts adjacent, that will not bring in all their provisions for men and horse, to the garrison of Oxford. With the resolution of both Houses thereupon, for to hazard their lives and fortunes, to prevent these miseries, and secure those places and the whole kingdome. Die Lunæ, 22 April. 1644. Ordered by the Lords assembled in Parliament, that this declaration and proclamation be forthwith printed and published. J. Brown Cler. Parliamentorum.
