Printer's device on the title page. Schreiber (i.e. Schreiber, Fred. The Estiennes) contends that it is a device of the Estiennes'. The wreath (Stephanus) at the top of the tree, and the rabbits (i.e. Simon de Colin) at the base; Schreiber further shows the cul-de-lampe on p. 163 as belonging to Henri Estienne (cf. the 1578 Plato) as further proof that it was printed in the Estienne shop (from Edinburgh University Library catalogue).
