Label

Bubble Bath is an impressive example of the fine and complex skill of Fok's entirely hand-executed nylon jewellery. The Crafts Council acquired the work from the 2007 Jerwood Applied Arts Prize for which Fok was short-listed. During her studies Fok was particularly inspired by teachers Caroline Broadhead and Susanna Heron. 'Originally Bubble Batxh was created as a fun piece for children for Craftscotland Touring Exhibition 'The Thirteen Hands', 2001-2004. I watched my own children blowing bubbles in the garden, this remninded me of myself as a child and the enjoyment we had.' - Nora Fok
