Object history note

Prior to its acquisition by the Crafts Council, this object was displayed at the following exhibitions: Central School of Art & Design Diploma Show (1971); one-person exhibition at the Electrum Gallery in London (1972); The Craftsman's Art at the Victoria & Albert Museum (March-May 1973); 'Aspects of Modern British Crafts' at the Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh (August-September 1973); 'In Praise of Hands - 1st World Crafts Exhibition' in Toronto, Canada (1974).
