Since 1992, Walpole has been creating pieces with found, recycled and grown material she has access to within her working environment. This method supports her values in working resourcefully and with sustainable materials. Apple Laundry Basket was one of the first pieces she made after introducing this life changing principle and embodies the visual and practical ideas she wanted to achieve. Walpole graduated from the London College of Furniture. She works in the Shetland Islands and France.
